However, now it seems that they have changed to something a bit more cost effective. This new 16x DVD+R carries the MID of Moser Bayer India. MBI has actually been around for quite some time, and they have delivered quite Ok CD-R media in the past. At least fresh out of the recorder this Imation looks pretty good. It is recorded at 16x speed and the amount of PIF is very low. PIE however shows a sudden, but not severe increase as the recording speed reaches ~14x. Looks promising - lets hope that the quality does not vary too much. Pure data:
