This small sample batch contained discs with a Mitsubishi Chemicals / Verbatim Media Identifier (MID). The tests show these discs behaving almost as expected. There are some spikes in the graphs, but these are most likely caused by dust or scratches as the test batch we received was opened and removed from the spindle, so we can most likely ignore the spikes. The PIE graph also shows signs of a rapid increase at the outer rim of the disc. So not a flawless result, but still good - more testing is needed to make further conclusions how this compares to Verbatim and others using MCC dye/MID. Pure data:
